On November 10th, WHIN Manufacturing Alliance members, technology partners, and regional stakeholders gathered on a video conferencing call due to COVID-19 to attend the 2020 Fall Manufacturing Alliance Summit. We had a great turnout with nearly 50 attendees!
We got an update from the WHIN team, heard success stories from our current and prospective tech partners, and listened to three current members testimonials with a chance for attendees to engage in a Q&A. Chuck Hays with Drug Plastics, Steve Reed with SIA, and Bryce Brumm with Standard Industrial all shared with the attendees how beneficial WHIN has been for their operations.
WHIN has a lot of exciting initiatives happening and the energy on the virtual call was high. VP of Engineering, Jack Stucky introduced us to Gabriel Glynn, Co-Founder & CEO of MakuSafe, WHIN’s latest pilot partnership. MakuSafe is a new, wearable technology that is used to improve safety in manufacturing facilities. Gabriel gave attendees an overview of the MakuSafe product as a kickoff to the pilot study.
Overall, it was a great morning full of insightful conversation and we look forward to the next summit!
